Miscellaneous Monday

To welcome in the new week, we here at West Weddings Towers have collected some of our favourite wedding-related miscellany from across the internet to share with you. Here's to kicking off your week with a little bit of wedding inspiration (in nice, bite-sized, Monday-appropriate pieces)!

Favourite accessory: Save the date stickers
This week's favourite accessory comes in the form of stationery. This week our editor stumbled across this adorable idea for sharing your 'save the date', in the form of personalised stickers! These range from more casual and 'cutesy' to more formal, and they're such a creative idea for sharing your wedding date with your friends before sending out the actual invitations. (Found on Zazzle.co.uk at prices of around £5 for a pack of 20 stickers)

Favourite innovation: Suits for flower girls
Whilst perusing Pinterest (home of all things you never knew you needed to know), we came across this great idea for dressing 'tomboy' flower girls. The blog A Practical Wedding, shared inspiration from Kids Fashion Week for dressing your flower girls in an unconventional way. We think this is a brilliant idea, not only to suit some tulle-averse flower girls, but to match the more casual, slightly less 'frilly' wedding that we're seeing more and more of these days. Make sure you go read the entire post over at A Practical Wedding using this link.

Favourite Fan-Themed Wedding: Doctor Who!
We covered this in the latest issue of West Weddings Magazine (view online here) but love it so much we thought it was worth mentioning again. With the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who set to air on November 23rd, what better time for true Whovians to celebrate by getting married! On November 24th, 50 couples will get married (or renew their vows) or engage in a civil partnership in a Doctor Who themed ceremony (complete with Daleks). If you're interested in being one of the 50 lucky couples, entries are still open over at www.whovianwedding.com. <Insert obligatory joke about a timeless wedding/making sure one arrives in time here>
