Babington House Open Day on Saturday 29th September

Sometimes you have one of those moments. You spot an image, it intrigues you, and suddenly your attention is pulled away by 20 other things and you forget you've seen it. 

But sometimes it crosses your path again and you cannot help feeling excited. What is it Kate Winslet says in The Holiday? "Heart pounding! Throat thickening! Absolutely can't swallow! All the usual symptoms." Yes. That sounds about right! Every time I spot the charmingly tarnished mirrored walls of Babington House's Orangery and Log Room I get butterflies and start imaging intimate wedding soirees. 

 

Lucky for you Babington House will be opening its doors for prospective couples to experience all that Babington House has to offer on Saturday 29th of September.

Babington House and its 18 acre estate dates back to the Georgian  period and is situated in a stunning part of the Somerset countryside. The House, nestled in the midst of rolling hills, offers a perfect setting and surroundings for a traditional country wedding with a bohemian twist.

As part of the open day, guests are invited to have a full tour of the site, experience some of the facilities and also sample the seasonal menu that Babington has to offer.

This year Babington House has partnered with Christian Louboutin, Temperley Bridal and Smythson, who will each be hosting individual suites to talk you though their bespoke wedding collections. Couples who attend the open day will be entered into a prize draw, whereby the winner will receive an appointment at the Christian Louboutin flagship boutique to choose a bespoke design for their wedding shoe to the value of £375.

Timeless British designer, Temperley Bridal will also be on hand to help you find your perfect dress and will be offering all attendees a 10% discount off their stunning gowns. Each guest at the Babington House Wedding Open day will also take home a gift from luxury stationers, Smythsons as well as receiving a 10% discount of all orders placed on bespoke wedding stationary.

Over the past 12 months Babington House has undergone a complete refresh to enhance the experience for you and your guests. The bar, bedrooms and Cowshed active spa have been restyled and a brand new Deli Kitchen has been installed.
