Behind the Scenes: Autumn Photoshoot at Old Manor Hotel

We know you've been waiting for this and we're now delighted to share with you some of the 'behind the scenes' photos that created the romance-filled story of our West Weddings autumn editorial. The most exquisite details and amazing people from the West Country have come together to showcase their work in a beautiful country location - Old Manor Hotel

With the sun shining, the hotel looked charming and warm - the perfect place for an intimate get-away wedding weekend.
**Little known fact!**Did you know the site of the Old Manor is mentioned in the Doomsday Book? Its history stretches over centuries yet it feels current and cosy.

Surely you'll agree with us that our bride and groom look a picture of happiness - and who can blame them? They were looked after by a host of wedding experts and had a chance to experience some of the joys of getting married!

With hair and make-up professionally done by Grace Kingsley and wearing the gorgeous gowns from Solitaire Brides, as well as accessories from Bridezillas, our bride looked truly breathtaking. That's not to say that the groom wasn't dashing in his smart suits kindly provided by Anne Harding. What's more, the couple enjoyed a ride in the Jag and Morris Minor provided by Vintage Classics

The finishing touches - wedding cake from Pretty Amazing Cakes and flower arrangements from Tin Can Floral - were styled with love and creativity by the talented Little Wedding Helper. And you would not be looking at these stunning pictures if it wasn't for the skills of the photographer Martin Dabek

Behind the Scenes of West Weddings' Autumn cover shoot

If you enjoyed the Autumn cover shoot in our latest issue, here are even more photos from behind the scenes. Our shoot took place at Kingswood School - the perfect venue to combine the elegance of beautiful architecture with varying grounds to provide a more casual photoshoot backdrop.

Kirsten Butler of The Little Wedding Helper, and West Weddings' Photoshoot Art Director, did a smashing job putting together this glorious autumnal shoot in the middle of a scorching July!

The credit for these behind-the-scenes photos goes to Eleanor Saunders at Interlace Photography.

Rachel has her bridal make up done by Tracey Curnock, a freelance make up artist from Wiltshire. The minimal look really suited Rachel's natural glow.

The dresses and accessories were provided by Solitaire Brides and Bridezillas, respectively. This dress is my personal favourite - style 1901, by Phil Collins.

Zara and Harriet from David Maxwell Hairdressing give the adorable Ella - our flower girl - the glamour treatment before her time in the spotlight.

What a natural! Posing in a dress from Bride at Home in Downend.

A stunning arrangement from The Flower House.

...paired with an equally dashing boutonnière on Oliver - our groom.

The gorgeous burgundy 1928 American Studebaker Dictator was supplied by Kens Kars.

The pops of red in this look alone are probably enough reason to have an Autumn wedding.

Oliver's dashing ensemble came from Slaters in Cheltenham. The cravat was my personal favourite.

The surroundings of Kingswood School make for a huge variety of photo ops - which we took advantage of completely throughout the shoot!

More from Ella - styling by her very proud mum Kirsten

Fiona Hardy of Cupcake Delight provided both the cake and these Autumnal cupcakes - we had to make sure they were featured as well.
