Beer Tasting Evening at Aztec Hotel & Spa

Grooms, if you had a say in it, how would you choose to spend your stag do? Surely not everyone's a fan of flying off to Prague or Vegas just to enjoy a few drinks. Aztec Hotel & Spa in Bristol is organising a Beer Tasting Evening on Thursday 30th April and you could be one of their special guests! Whether you already know a thing or two about brewery or just enjoy drinking it, this is your chance to try an impressive range of beers and food masterclass in the newly refurbished Aztec Bar.  

All you need to do is tell your best man about this event and let him gather all your mates for a special celebration weekend. Rest assured though, not all stag dos end up disastrously, despite what Doug and his troublesome friends ('The Hangover' series) went through. You CAN have a fun and memorable experience without ending up in hospital in the build up to your wedding.

Wedding Fair at the Aztec Hotel and Spa

Calling all brides and grooms from the South West region! Don’t miss the open air fair this Sunday, 5^th October, between 10:30am - 4:30pm at the Willow Brook Centre in Bradley Stoke. The Aztec Hotel and Spa are celebrating the beautiful sunny weather and organising this special wedding show in a different location - the shopping centre! You’ll get a chance to find out more about this modern and stylish wedding venue and talk to some of the industry suppliers.

There's also an update on this season's wedding event!  Due to an exciting new ground floor development  commencing in November at the Aztec Hotel and Spa,  the wedding showcase on Sunday 16th November  has been postponed. You're Invited to An Expert-Led Wine Dinner at Aztec Hotel & Spa!

We all know wine to be one of the best accompaniments to a perfect meal, so imagine an opportunity to have a delicious six course meal paired perfectly with wines chosen by the makers themselves. Thankfully this vision didn’t remain in the imaginations of the wonderful events team at Aztec Hotels – they’ve made it a reality, and you’re invited.

This year Aztec Hotels is hosting four wine dinners exactly as described above – a six-course meal, with each course paired expertly with the perfect wine, and presented by the maker of each wine. Not only is it a treat for your tastebuds, but it’s an informative night as well – getting you that bit closer to being the connoisseur you hoped to become before an exotic European honeymoon.

On Friday, February 28^th, Aztec will host its first wine dinner of the year – a champagne dinner, to be precise, hosted by Laurent-Perrier. The evening will begin with a champagne and canapé reception, to be followed by the meal, which includes line caught sea bass, new season garlic rubbed salt marsh lamb, a selection of cheeses, and more (see full menu below!). The guest speaker on the evening is Steve Astbury, from Laurent-Perrier, who will guide you through the evening’s champagnes and wines.

The evening is £49 per person, including wine and champagne. And if this offer wasn’t irresistible enough, you’re also invited to stay the night at this luxury 4-star hotel for only £50 per room bed and breakfast (based on two sharing).

Contrary to the title, these offerings would actually suit stags OR hens. Aztec puts on a variety of tribute nights throughout the year to suit every taste and style - ranging from a Take That tribute night, to a Motown night, a Dirty Dancing night, and even a Mamma Mia night! Each tribute night includes a 3 ouurse meal, half a bottle of wine per person, and many of the evenings end with a disco! These packages start at around £38 per person.

The Aztec Hotel & Spa in Bristol have announced their 2014 Wedding Showcase dates - spread helpfully throughout the year to suit wedding planning in any season!


At one of Aztec's open houses, you'll be able to meet their wedding team, see the venue for yourself, consult on decor and menu possibilities, and generally gather all the ideas you need to plan your special day.
