We all know wine to be one of the best accompaniments to a
perfect meal, so imagine an opportunity to have a delicious six course meal
paired perfectly with wines chosen by the makers themselves. Thankfully this
vision didn’t remain in the imaginations of the wonderful events team at Aztec
Hotels – they’ve made it a reality, and you’re invited.
This year Aztec Hotels is hosting four wine dinners exactly
as described above – a six-course meal, with each course paired expertly with
the perfect wine, and presented by the maker of each wine. Not only is it a
treat for your tastebuds, but it’s an informative night as well – getting you
that bit closer to being the connoisseur you hoped to become before an exotic European
honeymoon.
On Friday, February 28th, Aztec will
host its first wine dinner of the year – a champagne
dinner, to be precise, hosted by Laurent-Perrier. The evening will begin
with a champagne and canapé reception, to be followed by the meal, which includes
line caught sea bass, new season garlic rubbed salt marsh lamb, a selection of
cheeses, and more (see full menu below!). The guest speaker on the evening is
Steve Astbury, from Laurent-Perrier, who will guide you through the evening’s
champagnes and wines.
The evening is £49 per person, including wine and champagne.
And if this offer wasn’t irresistible enough, you’re also invited to stay the
night at this luxury 4-star hotel for only £50 per room bed and breakfast
(based on two sharing).
